Angie Sánchez joined the firm in 2024.

Ms. Sánchez has experience advising local and international clients on regulatory, financial, and corporate matters, particularly in highly regulated industries.

In the maritime field, she has been involved in operations ranging from vessel registration and obtaining technical certificates to the design of naval financing structures, including the creation of maritime mortgages, vessel sales and purchases, and port concessions. She has represented both shipowners and international financial institutions in the implementation of these structures.

Ms. Sánchez is an active member of ARIFA’s aviation group, working with banks and leasing companies on asset-based financings involving aircrafts registered in Panama.

Her experience also extends to the corporate field, having been involved in mergers and acquisitions, share purchase transactions, shareholder agreements, and corporate restructurings.

Additionally, her previous role as a legal advisor at the Panama Maritime Authority provided her with a deep understanding of the sector’s regulatory and operational framework, as well as a solid foundation in legal analysis and regulatory compliance.
