SUMMARY

Diego Marín joined the firm in 2024, as an associate in the litigation and arbitration practice group.

Mr. Marin regularly represents sovereign states, decentralized public entities, as well as national and foreign corporations in complex disputes in both arbitration and judicial spheres. He has advised clients in arbitration proceedings under the rules of the ICC and CeCAP, as well as in ad hoc arbitrations.

He has represented clients in disputes in various areas of law, including energy, construction, contractual and tort liability, banking, insurance, administrative law, public tenders, maritime law, corporate law and probate.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Marin interned at White & Case's offices in Washington D.C. and Miami, where he gained valuable experience in international arbitration. He also worked as a Senior Officer in the Third Chamber of Administrative Litigation of the Supreme Court of Justice.

He earned an LL.M in International Arbitration from the University of Miami in 2023; and a bachelor’s degree from the Universidad Santa María La Antigua in 2021. He is fluent in Spanish and English. Currently, he serves as Secretary of the Law and Commercial Practices Commission of the International Chamber of Commerce, Panama Chapter.
