SUMMARY

Nicolás A. Ramos started his working experience at ARIFA in 2016 and joined the firm as an associate in 2023.

Mr. Ramos is an associate working with the corporate transactions team, advising clients on financing transactions, mergers and acquisitions, infrastructure projects and capital markets.

He specializes in serving corporate clients in M&A and project finance transactions. He has experience conducting due diligence procedures, as well as reviewing and drafting contracts, security documents and legal opinions for local and cross-border transactions involving Panamanian companies and assets located in the Republic of Panama.

From 2021 to 2022, Mr. Ramos worked with the National Secretariat of Public-Private Partnerships, Ministry of the Presidency, on matters arising from the newly approved Public-Private Partnership (PPP) Law. He contributed to the implementation of the newly PPP regime, drafting comprehensive legal analyses for potential PPP projects, advising public institutions on the regulatory framework, as well as working with multilateral organizations in the structuring of PPP projects in early stages.
