At the inaugural Chambers Latin America Awards for Excellence Ceremony, held on November 4th, Chambers & Partners gathered the best international lawyers in the Americas at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel, in South Beach, Miami, to honor those firms with outstanding performance over the last year on the basis of research carried out for the current edition of Chambers Latin America. The awards recognized both local firms in each country and the leading international law firms across the region.

At the gala ceremony, ARIFA was recognized by Chambers & Partners as a "high-octane operation noted for its prowess in cross-border M&A, capital markets and finance."

The high caliber and leadership of the Panamanian law firm and its lawyers has been reassured by the already published second edition of Chambers Latin America (2010) with leading rankings in all its categories: banking and finance, capital markets, corporate/M&A, projects, real estate, shipping, offshore, intellectual property, and dispute resolution.
