Gian Castillero joined the firm in 1994 and up to 2000 served as resident lawyer in our London Office.   Upon becoming a partner in 2008, he was appointed Head of the firm's Corporate Services Practice Group.

Mr. Castillero's practice focuses on offshore services in Panama, the British Virgin Islands, Belize and other jurisdictions.  He has had extensive experience in advising private clients, banks, trust companies and corporations in a wide range of offshore topics, including organization and management of companies, philanthropic entities and foundations, trusts, estate planning, international tax planning and asset protection structures.

Mr. Castillero is the President of the Panamanian Association of International Lawyers, a Director of Panamanian Maritime Lawyers association and a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners. Mr. Castillero has been recognized as a leading lawyer in Corporate and Maritime Law by Chambers Global.

He received a Masters of Laws from the London School of Economics at London University and a Bachelor of Laws from the Santa María La Antigua University.
