Arias, Fábrega & Fábrega’s Litigation and Arbitration practice was invited by the editors of The Legal Industry Review (LIR) to author the article “Panamá, criptomonedas y arbitraje”, published in the Panama 12 edition of its 2026 volume.

At the same time, there is a clear trend among participants in this industry to submit their disputes to arbitration, rather than relying on domestic court litigation. The article examines the legal implications of this development and the growing relevance of arbitration as a dispute‑resolution mechanism within the crypto and blockchain ecosystem.
