Arias, Fábrega & Fábrega acted as counsel to Citibank, N.A., Panama Branch, in its role as Trustee in a US$78 million syndicated loan financing to Generadora del Istmo, S.A. (GENISA) for the construction, equipment and placing into operation of the Barro Blanco run-of-the-river hydroelectric power plant, with a capacity of 28.56MW.

The Central American Bank for Economic Integration (CABEI) acted as Administrative Agent of the financing.
