Bladex experienced a reform to its Social Contract that included an extension in its business definition. It also introduced a change of the trade name, from Banco Latinoamericano de Exportaciones S.A. to Banco Latinoamericano de Comercio Exterior S.A., maintaining in force the commercial name “Bladex”.  ARIFA's Intellectual Property Team has had the task of updating the title owner of the Bank’s trademarks throughout Latin America.
