Arias, Fábrega & Fábrega advised BNP Paribas, Natixis, JP Morgan, Euler Hermes Kreditversicherungs – AG, Barclays Capital and various export credit agencies in 27 separate transactions over the course of 2011, to complete several amendments and refinancings of Avianca Airbus aircrafts, following the redomiciliation of Avianca-Taca Holding, S.A. from Bermuda to Panama, as well as the financing of new aircraft deliveries. 

Among the transactions advised by ARIFA are the amendments to 4 and the refinancing of 11 Avianca Airbus aircrafts A 319 / A320 / A330, led by BNP Paribas, the refinancing of 4 aircraft led by Natixis, the refinancing of 3 aircraft led by Barclays and the financing of 5 new Airbus aircraft deliveries led by JP Morgan. 

ARIFA had advised the various banks and export credit agencies in 2009-2010 for the 22 original aircraft financings, and was again retained as Panamanian counsel to the financial institutions for the refinancing transactions.
