Arias, Fábrega & Fábrega, acted as counsel to BNP Paribas (NY) as administrative agent, global coordinator, joint leader arranger and joint bookrunner in connection with a credit agreement with the Pacific Rubiales Group.

This credit facilities was granted for the construction of an approximately 146 mile 24-inch pipeline between the Rubiales oil field, located in the Meta Province of Colombia, and the Monterrey Station located in the Casanare Province of  Colombia and the expansion of Meta Petroleum Corp's central processing facility.  Other banks in the transaction included Calyon, Banco Davivienda S.A. and West LB AG New York Branch.
