Arias, Fábrega & Fábrega represented Texaco (today Chevron) in a proceeding brought against them by representatives of the State, claiming a payment of more than US$300 million.

In a similar case, the firm had successfully defended Texaco before the Court, in a judgment on omission of payment of taxes for more of US$80 million.
