ARIFA acted as joint counsel to ORIX Aviation Systems Limited, as seller, and Aircastle (Ireland) Designated Activity Company, as purchaser and new lessor, in connection with the sale and lease restructure of one Boeing 737-8V3 aircraft operated by Copa Airlines.

Our work encompassed the drafting and negotiation of all transaction documents, the provision of comprehensive advice on Panamanian tax and regulatory aspects, and the coordination of all closing logistics with Copa Airlines. We also handled post-closing filings and registrations required to perfect the transaction under Panamanian law.
