Arias, Fábrega & Fábrega represented Crédit Agricole CIB on the successful refinancing of approximately US$2.6 billion of letter of credit and term loan facilities in favor of McDermott International, Ltd., a global engineering and construction business.

The refinancing was implemented through a cross-border restructuring process and secured by certain assets, including vessels of Panamanian registry, for amounts of up to US$9.5 billion.

ARIFA legal team led the drafting and negotiation, closing logistics and perfection of the Panama deliverables.
