Arias Fábrega & Fábrega advised Joint Lead Arrangers and Bookrunners J.P. Morgan Chase, Banco Latinoamericano de Comercio Exterior (Bladex) and Banistmo in a secured syndicated loan in favor of Panamanian Banco Aliado for an amount of US$ 130 million.

Banco Aliado will use the proceeds of the loan to replenish the cash-on-hand used to finance a portion of the purchase price for the acquisition of Banco Panama in May.
