Arias, Fábrega & Fábrega closed a US$50 million credit agreement among Global Bank Group Corporation, the lenders from time to time party to thereto and Banco Latinoamericano de Comercio Exterior, S.A. in its capacity as administrative agent, and the agent and JPMorgan Chase Bank, N.A., in their capacity as joint lead arrangers and bookrunners.

The proceeds of the loan will be used by the borrower to partially finance the acquisition by Global Bank Corporation, a wholly owned subsidiary of the borrower, indirectly through its wholly owned subsidiary GB AV Inc., of up to 99.9720% of the issued and outstanding equity interests in Banco Panameño de la Vivienda, S.A.
