Arias, Fábrega & Fábrega successfully represented a leading airline, in obtaining antitrust approval with respect to its commercial alliance agreement with another leading airline in the Republic of Panama.

Pursuant to the antitrust approval, such leading airlines will be able to increase the passenger air traffic as well as the quantity and quality of the flight service whilst at the same time preserving a relationship that involves code-sharing, schedule and check-in coordination, and joint marketing.

It is the first antitrust approval granted by the competition authority with respect to the airline industry in the Republic of Panama and it involved the presentation before the said authority of complex analysis of the recent market trends in the aviation industry.
