Arias, Fábrega & Fábrega represented Societe des Produits Nestle, S.A., in the opposition against the trademark applications “Don Gustico and design” No.215745-01 and “Don Gustico” No. 215746-01, based on the previous existence of the “Maggi Doble Gusto”, “Doble Gusto and design” and “Don Gusto”.

By means of the Sentence No.70, of July 29, 2015, the Panamanian Judicial Court resolved in favour of our clients, denying the registration of the trademarks applications for “Don Gustico and design” No.215745-01 and “Don Gustico” No. 215746-01, both in Class 30, in the name of the Panamanian citizen Elba Fernandez de García.
