Arias, Fábrega & Fábrega represented Millicom International Cellular, S.A., in the opposition against the trademark application “Kimtigo and design” No.235885-01, based on the previous existence of the recognized trademarks “Tigo”, “Tigo and design”, “Tigo Star and design” and “Tigo Sport and design”.

By means of the Sentence No.74, of August 10 , 2015, the Panamanian Judicial Court resolved in favour of our clients, denying the registration of the trademark application for “Kimtigo and design”, No.235885-01, in Class 09, in the name of Shenzhen Tigo Semiconductor Co., LTD.
