US$109 million IE Holding's acquisition of energy company CBPF Pacora Ltd.
Arias, Fábrega & Fábrega acted as counsel to Interenergy Holdings (IEH) in the:
- indirect purchase of 55 per cent of interests in Pedregal Power Company, a Panamanian limited liability company (by acquiring CBPF Pacora Ltd.'s 55.00 per cent of Pedregal Power Company);
- and acquisition of two (2) Jamaican power generation companies.
The Company sells electricity and electrical generating capacity to local distribution companies under the terms of purchase power agreements, as well as through spot market sales within Panama and to other countries in Central America.
