Representing the interests of International Intellectual Property Company, LLC
Our client, International Intellectual Property Company, LLC, learned that the Panamanian corporation Grupo TIESA S.A. was illegally using its trademark International y Diseño. Therefore, in order to provide him a speed solution, Arias, Fábrega & Fábrega sent a Cease and Desist Letter to the aforesaid Panamanian company requesting them to stop the use of the client’s mark and to remove it from their cars, external walls of the business office as well as company’s advertising.
However, it was necessary to send three (3) Cease and Desist Letters in total, in order for Grupo TIESA to meet our requirements.
Kindly note that these Cease and Desist Letters were a speedy solution to the client. Otherwise, we would be in the need to initiate a criminal case of forgery with the District Attorney’s Office of Panama, which would represent time and money for them.
