Arias, Fábrega & Fábrega has advised Interenergy Holdings (IEH), in connection with:

• an investment in the project company that will build the second phase of the first wind generation farm in Panama and
• the bridge financing of the construction of such second phase. 

The transaction involved a simultaneous M&A and Project Financing, closing on the same day. 

ARIFA's client was engaged in simultaneous negotiations with three contractors (one to supply the wind turbines, one to bring them from China to Panama, and one to build the platforms on which the turbines are to be installed), the project company and the bridge lenders.  Notwithstanding this complexity, the entire transaction closed in a matter of four months.
