This scholarship was established by the International Bar Association (IBA) and the Latin American Regional Forum in 2010 in memory of beloved ARIFA partner Rogelio de la Guardia. 

The award provides funding for registration, accommodation and travel costs to the Biennial IBA Latin American Regional Forum Conference. This year the conference will be held in Bogota, Colombia on March 14-16, 2012.

ARIFA would like to thank the IBA and the Latin American Regional Forum for their enthusiastic support in establishing and promoting the Rogelio de la Guardia Scholarship. It is a fitting tribute to a lawyer who has done so much to build this conference.
