For the third consecutive year, ARIFA was named National Law Firm of the Year for Panama by Who's Who Legal, publisher of The International Who's Who of Business Lawyers.  ARIFA is the only Panamanian firm that has ever received this award. Only eight law firms in Latin America were selected this year for this prestigious award.

This year, the leadership, expertise and high caliber of the firm was also acknowledged by The International Financial Law Review when it designated ARIFA 2009 Central American Law Firm of the Year, in a gala ceremony in New York, for its innovative work in complex financial and M&A transactions in Panama and Central America.
