Presenting an overview of the most relevant FTAs in the Americas today and how this affects clients in the region and abroad, the Interlaw Americas Regional Meeting 2009, with the theme "Free Trade Agreements and Globalization", congregated Latin America's leading business lawyers in Cartagena, Colombia.

During the Interlaw Americas Regional Meeting 2009, ARIFA Partner Eduardo de Alba, addressed the conference on issues of international arbitration in Panama. Estif Aparicio, Senior Associate of the firm made a presentation regarding "Panama's Recent Free Trade Agreements" and also participated in follow up panel that discussed the negotiation of free trade agreements in Americas.
