It is a great privilege for ARIAS, FABREGA & FABREGA to sponsor the Rogelio de la Guardia Scholarship, during The Latin American Regional Forum of the International Bar Association's Biannual Conference to be hold in Santiago, Chile, on March 2010, in memory of this beloved Partner.

The International Bar Association (IBA), the world's largest organization of Law Societies, Bar Associations and individual lawyers engaged in transnational law; meant so much for Rogelio, we believe it is fitting to present this scholarship in recognition of the professional and personal fulfillment that the IBA provided to Rogelio.

Rogelio was a very enthusiastic member of the Latin American Regional Forum and worked hard to promote the goals of the IBA and of the profession throughout Latin America. We are certain that this initiative to promote the professional and career development of future generations of lawyers would have had a very special place in his heart.

The Rogelio de la Guardia Scholarship will provide funding for covering accommodation and travel costs, as well as the cost of registration for the Conference.
